With the availability of Qt 5.1 Alpha we're ready to develop for both OS just now, since all the qtbase is already implemented. However, there are still a few limitations (parts of Multimedia aren't fully implemented and Qt Quick is not working under iOS yet).
I think this is great news for lots of developers willing to reach these new targets in the mobile arena. Given you are developing your application from scratch or porting an existing application, this is again a giant leap for Qt framework in its quest for "code once, deploy everywhere" motto. Although full support for both Android and iOS platforms is expected to come with Qt 5.2, we have now a base to develop full applications for such platforms.
